About Tech4All
We are a charity based in London although run a variety of projects with global impact. We partner with a mixture of private and public sector organisations to help those who are disadvantaged or in poverty.
The Charity
The Charity was founded in 1996 with the aim of reducing poverty through the use of technology.
We have partnered with a number of other organisations to deliver projects. The Board of Trustees is based in London and is responsible for choosing what projects to proceed with. Tech4All’s contribution to projects ranges from financial particpation through grants or loans, to providing expertise and experience

Giles Barry Keating - Chair
He is an Honorary Fellow of St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford and a Governor of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research.
He has worked with a number of technology-based early stage companies. He has published two novels based on characters who were alive in the Elizabethan era and who lived at Athelhampton House, a visitor attraction in Dorset of which he is Chair.
Dame Nerys Jefford DBE - Trustee
As a specialist barrister at Keating Chambers for over 25 years, Nerys Jefford QC has vast experience in construction and engineering disputes both in the UK and in international arbitration.
She was appointed as a Recorder in 2007 and as Queen’s Counsel (now King’s Counsel) in 2008. She was appointed a High Court Judge in 2016. In 2019 she was appointed as Administrative Court Liaison Judge for the North Eastern Circuit. In 2020 she was appointed a Presiding Judge of the Wales Circuit and she is the current Deputy Chair of the Boundary Commission for Wales.

Dr. Lucy Rogers MBE - Trustee
Lucy is an award-winning engineer, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and honorary Fellow of the Institute of Engineering Designers. Her PhD was an investigation into the formation of bubbles.
She ran her own engineering consultancy for many years, concentrating on inventing fun gadgets and gizmos and the process of making.
She was a Visiting Professor at Brunel University teaching Creativity Skills and Communication Skills. She is currently splitting her time between travelling the world researching her new popular science book and living on a narrow boat.
